Nails Inc Franklins Row

I can't describe how much I love this polish. You can't buy me love but you can buy me polish. This polish is my new love.

This polish was one of the polishes in my first haul post

Nails Inc Franklins Row is described as a "metallic bright purple" on Sephora's website. To me it's an amazing purple with pink and blue microshimmer. Since it flashes more pink in some lighting and more blue in other lighting I think it might but a duochrome. Am I classifying this right?

Nails Inc is a brand new to me. The brand originates in London but has recently made the jump across the pond. It's available in select Sephora stores and online now. The elephant in the room: it actually costs less in the USA than in the UK. That's not fair at all. Sorry!

I'm in love with the brush on this polish. It spreads out nicely but isn't that long. It made application a breeze. I applied two coats of Franklins Row for opacity. With thicker coats you may be able to get away with one.

I got great wear time with this polish too. I think I've had it on for six days now and only experienced tipwear and a slight chip. Mind you, polish usually does not seem to last on me. It could be because of my base coat change, using Orly Bonder now, but it could be the epic polish that is Franklins Row.

This post is picture heavy. Honestly there are a lot more pictures I could have put on here. I couldn't get enough of this polish.

The next four photos are inside with artificial lighting.

It seems to lean more pink in these indoors photos.

The next three photos are in indirect sunlight.

It looks more blue here.

These last photos are in direct sunlight.

The polish tends to look like this the majority of the time.

This purchase was a great success. I love it. It's totally going to get me sucked in to Nails Inc polishes. By the way, I can't wait for their magnetic polishes to launch. They are more expensive than the regular line but look awesome.

So what do you think? I am right by classifying this as a duochrome? Have any Nails Inc polishes? Think I should stop writing my posts late? I would probably write better and more comprehensive. I would get more sleep too.

On To The Next Polish,

Katie

  1. Really nice, but looks VERY familiar (Grape Set Match maybe?). Magnetic polishes are awesome! I hope they get some awesome magnet patterns to release too! :)

  3. Pretty color! I haven't seen this one in person; based on pics I'd say it's a shimmer with a flash rather than a duochrome.

  4. Hey Katie! :)

Wow, this is a really pretty purple! I've never tried any Nails Inc. polishes before. Looks good!

Haha and I was cracking up at your line: "You can't buy me love, but you can buy me polish!" :P Hehehe!

  5. @thenailaholic I don't have that one so I don't know exactly they compare. This polish doesn't compare to any purples I have, but I don't have many. Looking around online the Nails Inc magnet pattern looks very cool!

    @imfeelingnail-venturous Thanks! It's a beauty.

@Sandra My thoughts exactly! It got great wear time too!

@KarenD Ok, that sounds right. Thanks for straightening me out with my terms!

@Swatch And Learn Hi Mary! This was my first from Nails Inc and certainly not my last! Thanks! I think that could have been from the Beatles music I was listening to or the fact I was in love with this polish. I can't believe I left it on for six days!
