Nfu Oh and nails inc Haul

Hi! Hope everyone is having a good week.

I thought I would quickly share the polishes I recently got.
I only got three so it's not much of a haul.

Left to right: Nfu Oh 61, nails inc fitzroy square, nails inc franklins row

First up, Nfu Oh 61! I have waited a while for it to be in stock on Fabuloustreet. It always seemed like it would get sold out before I had the chance to order it. It came in the mail the day I got these polishes so I thought I would include it in this post. It is still in stock on the website if anyone wants it. If you're not familiar, it is a strong linear silver holographic polish. I can't wait to wear it!

Next, nails inc creates these "3d glitters" under a special effects line. I was eager to try one of them out so I went with fitzroy square. Fitzroy square is a turquoise blue glitter polish with different sizes of glitter within.

Finally, I really wanted to try one of the regular nails inc polishes. One of the Sephoras near me luckily had the nails inc line. You can order from the website but it helps to see the polishes in person. When I got there my heart was set on another polish but it looked too similar to something I owned. Instead, I grabbed franklins row. It looks like a great duochrome purple with shimmer.

I was impressed by nails inc. They look to have a great color range. I appreciate that they put stickers to make sure colors aren't opened before you buy. Between the two polishes, they had different antilock stickers. I included pictures below to show what I mean.

The 3d special effects glitters only have the barcode sticker with the name to "lock it". The sticker lays smooth when unopened. My sticker looks a little crinkled because I opened it after buying. It was perfectly smooth before.

The regular line has a clear circle sticker to prevent opening. The barcode sticker (with the polish's name) is on the top of the bottle. I prefer this way more. That way the name of the polish stays securely on and doesn't get wrinkled.

I took these next pictures to try to show how pretty franklins row looks in the bottle. I hope these pictures help you get a feel what it looks like. Can't wait to wear it! I'm wearing Color Club Gossip Column.

That's all for now. Hopefully I'll have my first tutorial up either today or tomorrow. I decided to do a tutorial on the Hello Kitty nail that was a part of my Nail Art Spam Part 2. I hope you enjoy it! While I came up with this design on my own, looking around I know I'm not the first to do it. However, I wanted to show how I do it.(Edit: Tutorial is now posted!)

Here's a preview picture!

So, has anyone tried out nails inc polishes? What did you think? Did anyone else snag Nfu Oh 61? Are there any other nail designs that I've done that you would like a tutorial for?

On To The Next Polish,

Katie

  7. Hey Katie!

Thanks for telling me about Nfu Oh 61 being back in stock earlier in August. Because of your great tip-off, I ended up getting it and the special base coat for it. :D Woo hoo!

  8. @SwatchAndLearn You're welcome! Glad you got it! Let me know if the base coat works well with it. I'm on the fence if I should get it.

  9. I haven't tried it yet (still - hehe, so many polishes and so little time), but I've read on other blogs that the Aqua base coat dramatically improves the opaqueness of the holo and also improves wear time, so I think it's worth the investment.

Here's a link to one of the blogs I've seen swatches on and a good review of Aqua: http://www.midnightmanicures.com/2011/08/nfu-oh-aqua-baseworth-it-necessary.html

  10. @Swatch And Learn There really isn't enough polishes for all the time in the world! Eventually I'll invest. I need to get some other Nfu Ohs first.
