Irish Argyle Inspired Nail Art

For once I'm actually early for a holiday, St. Patrick's Day that is. Ok, so I didn't have festive in mind when creating this nail art look but I knew I wanted to do something with irish colors. Though I'm trying to convince myself that for once I was on top of holiday nail art.

Anyways, this look is primarily argyle inspired. It's not directly copied from an argyle pattern but rather a diamond shape pattern in altering colors. The diamonds aren't exactly perfect but I'm happy with the way it turned out. I started with a base of CND Green Scene, a gorgeous mid toned green requiring one coat for opacity. Then I added diamonds with the used of China Glaze Bermuda Breakaway with gold accents from Essie Gold as it Gets from the new Luxeffects collection.

On To The Next Polish,
Katie

    1. Thanks! I really like how the flakies looked against the blue background too. It's just that little something extra. :)
